Cammie x Vincent Puppies ~ 7 Weeks

Oh my gosh……where did the time go with my precious puppies!  I can’t believe we’ll be sending them home to their families next week already.  This litter has been especially close to my heart and such a joy to love and raise.  I am absolutely thrilled with everything about our Cammie/Vince litter from their gorgeous coats to their uniquely sweet, fun and happy-go-lucky personalities!  I will really miss my 8 babies running to greet me in the morning with their tails wagging and their puppy breath kisses.  It’ll be mighty quiet around the ole’ homestead until our next puppers arrive!  🙂

This week’s photo session was a hoot!  I’m so glad no one was watching me trying to take these pics.  I probably looked totally ridiculous chasing my little lightening bolts around trying to capture that split second sitting picture you see here.  One thing for sure…..they are not at all interested in modeling anymore! 🙂  This will be our last photos of the puppies individually.  Thanks so much for watching us all grow up!!

Cammie x Vincent Puppies ~ 6 Weeks

Our puppies are growing by leaps and bounds!  Momma Cammie is basically done weaning her babies now and by their pudgy little tummies, you can tell they’re loving their kibble.  🙂  Thank heavens the nice weather came around so they’ve been exploring outside and are having a blast.  The tunnel I set up for them is their fav activity now.  As soon as I put it in the ex pen, they went right up to it and bolted through.  Talk about confidant pups!  They saw our vet for their Wellness Exam and all got A+’s on their “report cards!”  Yay!!

Here are our toddler puppies now at 6 weeks……aww…..those 8 little faces are sure the epitome of sweetness!!  🙂  Have a great week everyone!

Cammie x Vincent Puppies ~ 5 Weeks

Our pups are definitely growing up fast.  They are learning lots of new things every day and are proving how smart they are!!  The weaning process is going great.  They’re loving their kibble and with feeding them 3 times a day and Cammie still nursing, they are one pudgy group of pups! 🙂  Momma is soon ready to give up nursing duties……her babies are getting those sharp little puppy teeth in now!   The pups love to grab my socks and toes and I can definitely feel when they start nibbling!  We’re correcting with a firm “off” at that time and replacing our toes with an acceptible toy.  It’s never too early to start learning that correction!  🙂

Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms and a special Happy Mother’s Day wish with doodle hugs and kisses to our new puppy Moms!  🙂  Here are our babies at 5 weeks now….you can really see how quickly they are growing up!  We’re posting a bit early this week so we can work on getting our crew outside to romp……finally, some sunshine today.  Yay!

Cammie x Vincent Puppies ~ 4 Weeks

Our little darlings are growing up fast!  There’s lots of new things going on for our puppies at week four.  They are now playing with lots of toys and love the “gym” we’ve set up for them.  Then there’s always play fighting with their littermates….which is very normal behaviour for puppies this age.  Never a dull moment around here!  This week we’ll start them on rice cereal and puppy mush so that’ll be a yummy intro to weaning.  Cammie continues to nurse her babies but will start winding down a bit with that.  This is our window of opportunity to focus on socialization for our puppies, handling them often, changing their environment, mixing in lots of love and cuddles from us.  This is really important for our puppies now so they’ll grow up to be well-adjusted dogs.  I am absolutely thrilled with the temperaments I see in this litter!  All of them have awesome personalities and are happy puppies!  When I call to them, I see lots of little tails wagging and they’ll bolt to greet me with kisses and puppy breath!!  Love it!! 🙂
