Emme x Tate Puppies Are Here !! ~ 11/7/12

Yay!!!  Our much anticipated litter of Em/Tate puppies arrived very late last evening!  Em went through her delivery like the trooper she is.  She actually was in labor most of Wednesday, starting at about 3 a.m..   At around 8 p.m., she started having wicked contractions and at about 9 p.m., had her first pup.  Whew!!…long day.  From there, the rest of her babies arrived pretty fast for a first-time mama, so she did just great!  At around midnight, she was all finished and we were on our way to cleaning up the nursery.  We headed to bed I think around 2 p.m., so not bad at all.  I slept in the nursery (we have a bed in there so that was comfy) with Em and the crew.  Once we re-grouped, they all just crashed (me included)!   So we ended up having a total of 6 amazing puppies, 3 beautiful chocolates and 3 gorgeous caramels, one male and 5 females….I kept thinking as each girl was born….Em was definitely “thinking pink” the whole time!  🙂  They are very content little beauties, always camped out at the milk bar, ranging in weights from 9 oz. to 11 oz, so they’re mighty pudgy!

Here is a first pic of proud mama Em and her babies.  We’ll post individual photos and updates weekly.  Look for individual puppy pics as soon as we’re all settled in here.  We  have one female available as we had an extra little blessing hiding in there!  She will finish as a medium size and have a very pretty, allergy-friendly fleece coat.  If interested in more information about our lovely girl puppy, please call Vicki at 717-870-0659 or email at vickityson@comcast.net.  Thanks for taking a first peek at our Em newborns!!
